    Founder

    Flavio Melis is responsible for investment strategy, portfolio construction, and risk architecture at B.U.Y. Invest.

    He began investing in public markets in 2019 and developed the B.U.Y. Basic Strategy, a systematic investment framework designed to generate yield within clearly defined risk parameters. The strategy was actively managed through the 2020 global market dislocation and the 2022 interest-rate tightening cycle, demonstrating resilience across materially different market regimes.

    His work focuses on translating macro conditions and structural market dynamics into robust, implementable investment solutions.

    He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Bologna and an MSc in Corporate Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics.

    Ankit Anand oversees technology and the analytical understanding of modern business models at B.U.Y. Invest, a critical dimension in today's investment landscape.

    He holds a Master's degree in Physics and contributed to Nobel Prize–winning gravitational wave research, bringing a rigorous scientific and quantitative approach to complex problem-solving. His background includes leadership roles in technology-driven businesses across Europe and India, including a Swiss medtech company and an Indian AI platform, culminating in a USD 180 million exit.

    He is the founder of Riceberg Ventures, an active angel investor, and an ETH Zurich alumnus.
